Laurel regional is no longer a hospital. It is only a stand alone ED. For patients that are critical or require assistance that they cannot provide, the patient will be stabilized and transferred to another facility such as PG Hospital.
Yes, they can but are not a specialty center just an emergency medical. Safest thing to do is call 911 and the trained professionals will transport to the best treatment facility depending on the circumstance.
