If only common sense was a policy people wouldnt smoke around little kids. Thanks for the one thumbs up.
There is neither policy nor law preventing smoking outside more than 50 feet from building entrances. If smokers would be considerate and show restraint by keeping their second-hand smoke away from others - especially children - then there would be less call for restrictions that can be onerous.
It's outside and more fifty feet from buildings so no. Few smokers overall from what ive seen. And lozs of families and yozng proole in the evening.
There is no policy. They actually even have specific containers that people can put their cigarette butts in.
Its outside so NO
I was also surprised to see that this place is not designated as Non-smoking area; with so many family and children hang out and have a good time in this area. I went to One Loudoun Plaza on Saturday evening with family and the place is taken over by Hookah, Cigar and Vaping groups. A lot of family are hanging out, kids are playing and running around, which is really good; however, there are group of people who have setup Hookah on more than 3 tables. They are vaping, smoking cigar and Hookah. We could not stay there longer because of strong filthy Cigar smell all around the Plaza with people smoking Hookah in many tables. Basically One Loudoun Plaza has become open HOOKAH BAZZAR/Plaza and smoking area instead of a nice place where family and kids can hang around. I hope One Loudoun will consider to designate this area as non-smoking so that many family with children can hang out and have fun with out danger of second hand smoking.
