I need my package today.....tried to deliver but for some bogus reason said could not deliver .... need to pick up package tomorrow. I cannot wait until tomorrow. Why can i not pick it up today?

Your package is still with the carrier , it will not be back at the post office until the carrier returns . The return time is in known that's why the slip says the following day .
