I’ve never had a good experience here. It wasn’t until recently this location acquired a self-service kiosk something I’ve been itching for since I moved here in 2015. Problem? It’s constantly down for maintenance. So yeah they want you to stand in line for 20+ mins to buy a roll of stamps. Lastly, the main guy is super technical about all of their “rules.” The Post Office has forgotten they are here to provide services for the public not lecture us about all the reasons they can’t provide these services.

I just had the best experience at this post office. I was missing a package and went in to see if they could help and they were the nicest!! I appreciate that they took the time to figure out what might have happened and how they could help me. This experience made my whole day so much better!

You can go on usps.com or request a hold slip from your carrier. You can also stop by your local post office for a hold slip
I am not a postal worker, but from what i do know, it is best that you do.
That not answering my question the post master is who told me but I want to know why who put that as a rule

Your package is still with the carrier , it will not be back at the post office until the carrier returns . The return time is in known that's why the slip says the following day .
