Depending on the amount of items that need delivering they may or may not swing by a second time to your house. Usually if you miss them they will leave a note as to when they will return
Typically no it would be rare for them to accommodate such a thing best bet is to call and reschedule a time best for you.
You might be able to get that if the driver hasnt gotten back to the office yet, if not then they would bring it the next day
