I'm so sorry 😔 that was your experience. When I sought out services these past 2 weeks, they did return my calls and worked hard to get me scheduled with an advocate. I was able to get it by the end of the week. Per the representative who answered my call, they are very busy and they fill their schedule quickly. Are you calling the right number? No call back after a voicemail? That is unlike them, as I've had 3 domestic violence charges in which they provided services to me and but not once did I struggle like you are experiencing. Perhaps the delay is COVID related? Hmm 🤔.... I'm so sorry.
It was 2 years ago, after I posted this I went ahead and attempted to make a call, they answered, and told me that I may have gotten swept under the rug last time I was there. And I had gotten the right phone number, because the last time I had called 2 years ago, someone said that someone should have reached me by email, and I never heard from them again. She wouldn't even help me on the call And I'm being told that perhaps she no longer works there and that's why. It's still not okay and they still had every chance to rectify the situation 2 years ago. I suffered a lot because I felt ignored and rejected. And I'm sorry but to feel that way right after being in a situation where somebody took advantage of me and left me reaching out for resources when I had none was traumatizing. It also wasn't covid related if I tried to contact them in November / December of 2019. They simply had no excuse there was simply no reason that they should have ignored me.
