Try using the NYPL on line catalog... It shows what books you have out, what books you've placed a HOLD on as well as any fine you might have. It's also an easy way to renew a book you have checked out, free of charge, without a trip to the library!

go onto nypl.org . once on that website you can log into the catalog. you can see when your books are do on the online catalog. if that does not work for you or you don't have access, you can go to ANY NYPL location on Staten Island, Manhattan, or The Bronx (Brooklyn and Queens have their own system) if you have your library card or know your card number they can tell you when your books are due. once you've reached the due dates on your books, everyday after that is .25 cents a book, per book, per day, until the date you return them
