You can check in as early as 6 a.m., but your room will likely not be ready. They can hold your luggage at the bag check area and you can head over to the parks to start using the Express Pass included with a stay at Portofino Bay right away. You can use this perk on the day you check in and the day you check out.

Yes, Ms. Martins, you are correct. We just did that very thing this morning. When your room is ready, they'll call you. You can trade your temp keys for your room keys at your convenience.

You may park and check in as early at 6am. You may also use you Express Passes on any day you are staying there, including the days you check in and out. We parked there and checked in before the park opened. They made us our Express Passes (also your room key) there with no room assigned yet. Once our room was ready later in the day, they just reprogrammed our keys at the desk when we came back.

I just got an answer from the hotel. They said you can check in at 6AM and then either use the hotel facilities or go to the parks using a temporary card. When your room is ready you get its card. They told me that you can you use the card even in your last day at the resort.
