No, This church helped me with my rent a few years ago and I am white and at the time I was a single mother. I do recall that they told me when I submitted the application in person, I was interviewed briefly and understood that they had many applications and that a church committee made the decisions and that I would only be contacted if I was chosen out of the many applicants... And Praise God that I did receive the call that they would be sending a check to my landlord for the full amont of rent!! $500!! They can only do so much!! So many in need of help with limited funds, I'm sure! Sorry to here you didn't get the help you needed when you needed it, but I'm sure your race wasn't a factor in their decision! God Bless!!
