Greetings. We offer complete oral healthcare services at our two clinics in Mesa, Arizona. Every patient requires different services, and all costs for procedures are communicated to patients in advance, but after an evaluation. For the student clinic, please call 480.248.8100. For the Advanced Care Clinic and Orthodontic Clinic, please call 480.248.8107. You can also request an appointment by filling out the “make an appointment” form on the website, located here: https://www.atsu.edu/arizona-school-of-dentistry-and-oral-health/dental-clinics.
Yes they do everything up to and including major reconstructive surgery at their advanced clinic. HOWEVER the work is done by STUDENTS not fully trained and licensed dentists. These are students who may be doing a procedure on you that they have never done or done once or twice. Of course they are supervised by experienced dentists on the faculty most of whom I've been quite impressed by. But they aren't watching the student work the whole time - they just stop by once or twice to check her work or will come if the student goes and gets them. My point is you need to carefully monitor what the student is doing to you and if something doesn't seem right tell them to immediately stop and explain or ask them to consult with a faculty member. In other words you MUST stay aware of what's going on and don't hesitate to question the provider. I have stopped them from making serious mistakes on work they were doing on me. Remember-- they don't know what they're doing yet!!
