You sign up for a year. I did the 40 day program and in 40 days I lost almost 35 pounds. During those 40 days we have weekly check ins where the staff, who are all amazing by the way, go over goals and strategies. After the 40 days we spend another 21 days locking in our weight with weekly check ins as well. Then for the remainder of the year it's monthly check ins. I'm almost done with my year program and I've maintained a 35 pound weight loss this whole time. My wife was so amazed, she joined and lost 25 pounds so far. Best decision we ever made!
You are offered support for 12 months, but the weightloss is scheduled for 40 days. After the 40 days, you begin to introduce healthy fats, then work towards some other foods that are not allowed during the weight loss phase.
No contract, but the most structured part of the program is for the first forty days. As the other folks mentioned below, we continue monitoring you for a full year after the most structured portion of the weight loss is done so you can maintain (or continue) your progress. Research is showing that if we can keep your weight under control for a full year your chances of keeping it off forever go up significantly.
