It is part of The Island in Pigeon Forge. There is a street you could have dropped off at, plus the tram from the parking lot drops everyone off about 40 feet from the entrance.
The Resturant is not set up with a road to drive any car right in front of the place, it's in a mini mall kind of set up, the parking is a big lot on the side of the (I call small outside mall) entrance. There are buses that bring you to Paula Deens or to any of the other shops and they are set up for handicap people, there isn't even any type of road or lane that goes through the area, but the buses do help any handicap person that needs help, I think it's set up the best way it could be, in my opinion, but in reality you would have to see the way it's set up in a picture before you go there to see what I'm talking about. I think it's set up the best way it can be, being the Restaurant is on an Island,
There is a road that goes right in front of the door that leads to a small parking lot. Plenty of room to drop someone off. There are also 3 or 4 handicap spots in that small parking lot. We always just circle for a couple minutes til a spot opens up.
There is a road & handicapped parking available immediately to the right of the restaurant. You can drop pull directly in front of the restaurant to load/unload...there are additional handicapped parking spaces available in various areas at The Island....not all are in the large parking lots located to the right as you enter The Island....
That's an ADA violation.
You want to do two things. 1. Drop the Handicap individual off at the door and take the cart to the entrance or 2. Everyone take the cart to the entrance.
