Thank you to the users who provided the helpful responses below. To be clear - there are no *rentals* as it is a homeowner-occupied community only. And homes do indeed go fast. There are lenders for manufactured housing and with the appropriate downpayment, folks often end up spending less on lot rent and the home mortgage than they would renting an apartment. It is definitely worth looking into if you think you might want to buy. Lenders typically look for stable sources of income (2 years at least of verifiable, documented income) and a low debt to income ratio. I live in Glen Crest, they don't allow rentals. Only purchase home & rent the lot where home is at. Bought my home from Tracey Kemeter who owns PA Mobile Financing on Brookside Rd in Allentown. He has some he owns to sell & does financing if needed.
