Can u be 17 and have ur parent/guardian be there for u to get it

For tattoos, you must be 18+ in the state of Texas.

What about with parent consent ?

I believe at 17 your considered an adult by law in Texas. But underaged persons can have a parent present w/ proof to allow a tattoo to be done. At least the shops i have been to.
