Depends on where you get it. I know places like the spine, knuckles, elbows, or on any joint really can be quite painful. It is a little uncomfortable to get a tattoo, it kinda stings, but if you take a pain killer and put on some numbing cream on the area before getting the tattoo it won't be bad.

Yes they take walk ins. If they an artist available at the time. I would try when they open at 11am on a weekday. Its pretty hard to do a walk in on the weekend because they're usually really busy.

They are very strict in this matter however they might accept a school ID but I doubt it. When I took my daughter we used her passport. Hope this helps!
