Phone suddenly went black & white! No color on desktop or anything else! Any ideas how to fix it?

Restart your phone it might clear data but most of all it will return

I ended up rebooting. And taking my battery out x 3. Then I allowed the phone to go to 0% and then put it on the charger. The color came back. But the color left again the following 2 weeks later. I ended up with a new phone

Never heard of such a thing
