Because this food is cooked to order, precious..... if you wan't fast, McDonalds is waiting. If you want good...have some patience. 30 minutes is not an absurd amount of time for fresh cooked food. If your rudeness displayed in this post represents your attitude at the establishment, I'm not at all surprised at the waitstaff's reaction.
The manager apologize and his answer was it happens. I think the Waiter was on drugs. He looked like a deer in headlights.
