Do not call - appear in person, and ask to vacate any default against you. You may have to fill out a Motion and show good cause for having missed the hearing. The sooner you go, the better off you are.
Depends the type of hearing u had...if paternity hearing could have been to establish paternity and could have asked for genetic testing. If u didn't go possible that u could have been found to be father by default. Best option now is to call or go in.
