Thank you, Ms. Dodrill. Many members who use LogistiCare still call the cabs of the actual transportation company a "LogistiCare Cab". Thus the misunderstanding and the overuse of putting the blame all on the Call Center. It is unfortunate that transportation providers, trusted to provide safe & timely rides for all Medicaid members, haven't been keeping with the requested standards. Sadly, LogistiCare does not have the ability to control these Transportation Providers. LogistiCare assigns trips to Transportation Providers that are highly able to transport the member to their destinations. LogistiCare holds the Transportation Providers accountable for tardiness and unprofessional behavior, reporting them to the Health and Human Service Commission. In short, LOGISTICARE IS NOT THE CAB SERVICE THAT PICKS YOU UP AND DRIVES YOU TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. Please refrain from labeling LogistiCare as the Transportation Provider and blaming them for the incidents of others. Thank you.
They aren't the transportation company. They're the middle man that gets yelled at every time a driver arrives late from the actual transportation company.
