Yes backpacks are welcome as long as they don't have any weapons in them. I have been going there since 2015 and I have never had a problem if I carry my backpack in there. Of course everybody there knows me. The Museum basically says no drinks and or food in the Museum. Don't touch any of the bikes or artifacts. You can take as many pictures as you want. They also have lockers with keys there that you can rent for a quarter too to store your belongings in. Ride Safe. Yes you can take it in . Not sure if I would leave it with the bike but you should be good. Test was my 1st time there it was amazing
