Why do you still have the lower river closed??? Theirs no More debris there then there is on the upper river.. I toured both sides..!

Because no homes want water in them from a wake. And boats still need to stay on there lifts.so the lower section is no wake till the water is low enough. Not to mention when the water is being drawn down it makes it difficult to dock with the water moving at as much as 15 to 20 mph. I hope that helped

The lower is still no wake because the levels are too high. Once the level gets below the threshold it will be opened to full boating.
