USPS North Texas Processing & Distribution Center - All questions

I sent two passport renewals for two different people in two different envelopes, certified mail. Origin city: Stockton, California on August 1, 2022. Destination city: Irving, Texas. Packages were supposed to arrive August 5, 2022. Today is August 13, 2022 and the items ate still floating around Coppel Distribution Center, according to tracking by USPS. I called the 1-800 number and was on hold for half an hour, finally got a real person on the line and she disconnected me.

It would be highly unlikely a package would be at this processing facility for over a week (two to three days would typical). You would want to check with your local post office and your local post office can attempt to do a trace if it is not located within that office.
