Bring it back to the store you got it from, and go to customer service with your receipt and tell them what happened.
I would just take it back walk in the front door with it tell him what the problem is they'll either fix it right then or give you another lawn mower I don't work there but that's what I would do.
Take it to the customer service desk to the left of the entrance door. Call them first to get the details.
