Would it be likely that animals would wonder near the site? Like a deer or bear? Or do they just stay away

We had a secluded campsite on one of the back loops. We saw lots of birds, squirrels, chipmunks and several deer, but no bears, which was ok with us 😉 Do be careful with your food and follow the advice of the park. Have fun!

Squirrels, birds, Chipmunks, deer, are the more common animals that will wander anywhere near the campsites while people are present. This does not stop a bear from approaching though, so if you have trash, dispose of it properly or bear-proof it properly, inside the RV or in a hung trash bag.

Deer is very possible but not guaranteed. A bear is unlikely but still possible.

I've had deer have to get up and move from the path and cross the path
