Hi There. We keep the grass cut pretty short in the park and have never really had issues with ticks here. If you go out hiking on some of the mountain trails in the area, then you should definitely pay attention though. This region can get ticks in the tall grass and trees. As far as the mosquitoes go, it really varies from year to year and depends greatly on the temperatures and the amount of moisture we've had each season. Some years they are significant and other years you hardly notice them. It's difficult to give an accurate estimate of what they will be like in advance. Hope that helps a little bit. Thanks!
