You go south down Avondale Blvd and turn into the first entrance at PIR. There is a long strip of parking that you will see some cars at, most of the spots are disabled parking spaces for when the races are held.

It is confusing but the easiest way it to head south from the I-10 on Avondale Blvd. Take the first right after you drive over the bridge and as the road curves to the west. It will seem like you are turning into the ISM raceway but drive straight ahead to the end of the road to park.
