I'm looking to tent camp here. I dont want to be around people like at rv parks. I want to be surrounded by trees and off the trails. Can I do that here? And if so what areas in the map? I see on the left there is a trail. Can i camp off that trail?

You may want to check this place out for tent camping. It's a nice place for tent camping. It's a hidden jewel. Yellow River State Forest, Harpers Ferry, Iowa

There is designated areas for camp here, so camping off the trails would be a no. Very clean nice area with tons of things to do from hunting to fishing. Swimming and of course walking all the majestic trails and take in all that Springbrooke Park has to offer. Honestly can't wait to camp there again.
