The society is all volunteers, so the schedule is dependent on that. They limit the group size because the rooms you tour are not that large. You get to see the first floor and basement. We had to book about 9 months out.

The site is run by volunteers mostly. It's not exactly for profit. The tickets are set for the volume that that the historical society that manages the site can handle. It also isn't something that you would visit twice per say.
