What a great place to visit!!!

Very disappointed that we were unable to see the upper floors. The tour felt a little rushed, you either listened to the tour guide or read the informational boards, you really couldn't do both. Never really gave you the opportunity to see the main gate. You were told that the main gate was to your left as you were turning right. Waited many years to finally see the place and it felt like I really didn't get to see it.

$15 need to book in advance. Tickets are very limited.
The society is all volunteers, so the schedule is dependent on that. They limit the group size because the rooms you tour are not that large. You get to see the first floor and basement. We had to book about 9 months out.
Cancellations and No Shows are very rare. If we do have an opening, it is posted on the ticketing site right away. The Visitor Center is quite a distance from the Castle; you may visit to get further tour information or purchase a memento in the gift shop located in the Visitor Center, but there is no open space to visit. Ticket prices vary depending on the type of tour you are taking.
The entire castle has been refurbished but due to City codes only the first floor and basement are open to the public. The upper floors will not be available to tour. However, they can be seen from a virtual tour available on the first floor.
Not a problem. They will just let us know at check in that they are under your name.
Limited stairs and they have small elevators
Hi, Kathy. Please visit the website at TovreaCastleTours.com and look under the Castle Tours tab. All the information and the link to enter the Lottery can be found there.
I don't know for weddings. I wanted to visit since I stayed a couple of days in town. Just visiting requires to get into a lottery and if you win they will give you.a date and time to visit.
There are no tickets available through the end of 2020. Check our website for further information
Google only uses that term. Tovrea Carraro Society operates and manages the site in partnership with the City of Phoenix
Alesia Carrara built the Castle and sculpted the Cactus Gardens in 1928 in order to open it as a hotel. The Great Depression hit and Mr Carraro sold 44 of his 277 acres to the Tovrea’s, who owned it until the early 90s.
on July 1, 2019 at 6 am for the Friday through Sunday regular tours
Hi, Sandy. Current tour tickets, through June 2019 are sold out. The general ticket page is http://tovreacarrarosociety.org/CastleTourTickets.aspx Fall 2019 tickets will be released ONLINE at 6 am on March 1 at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3657536
Not sure what question you are asking. This is not a Theater. It was a private home if that's what you mean by "supportive life".
What ever date the tickets go on sale be ready to pounce, they go fast. You other option is to look 9n the site and look for cancellations. ALL of the ticket money goes back into running the Castle. I know this because I volunteer there.
8:30 am & 11:00 am. Tickets sold in advance. Need reservations, don't just show up.
The Visitor Center is at 5031 East Van Buren. And you may ask for dr. Tamara Zivic. The center is open in the mornings and early afternoons on Friday Saturday and Sunday. I need to mention that it is closed during the summer months. You can go on the internet and look up the website for tovrea Castle and see if there's more information there for you.
Walking tours of the gardens in collaboration with Desert Botanical Garden are still happening, however, are highly sought after tickets. Due to the heat, no walking tours are scheduled until the fall.
There was a murder in the Tovrea family in Phoenix, Arizona, but it was not Della Tovrea and not at Tovrea Castle.
