River do-able, but quite cold right now.
Maybe, I mean it depends on your own preference right now. In general during the summer months I would say yes. But for right now in early June, might be a tad chilly but still do able
It really depends on what you're comfortable with. The area where I've spent the most time in that looks big enough to swim in is close to the lake and the lake is very cold year-round. Perhaps upstream, but I haven't tried to access it for swimming there. I can say that the Gooseberry river south of there does get warm enough in the summer to swim in, but a ways upstream from the lake.
