Well it's lite up welland draws a boatload of people all the time. Sometimes I wonder why. On the opposite end of the strip just passed Sahara two or three blocks is a newer model of that sign complete with showgirls and I think that should be the place to go but of course it's 5 miles away from the entry point of California. The most memorable time for me for the Las Vegas sign was after the unfortunate mass murder of 58 country western concert doors on October 1st. Someone erected 58 crosses out front in a long procession. Play Grace that sign area for months in the cross is overtime gathered all kinds of wreaths and paraphernalia to the point that months later they had to take it all down the cross is that is. That was pretty amazing I took several photos of that and the people were lined up forever then. We now have a Memorial Park top of Casino Center Drive work connects into Charleston Avenue off the main freeway. It's a great spot and memorial for the 58 that lost their lives.

It's great. One of the best places at night all over the world.
