When you get a replacement card, do you get an official form that says yes, that's your number for places like the DMV or are you stuck waiting for the card to arrive?

You get a paper that days you applied for a card. So basically you have to wait for your card, if it comes I applied august 28th I still have not received my card. I will need to go reapply on Monday:(...please check off helpful if this helps you.

You have to wait for the card. Pain in the ass, i know. I went through the exact same thing for DMV. The card does come fast, though. Mine came in about 4 days. However, for the DMV you can also bring in a W2 or 1099 from work that has your SSN.
