Yes it will. You don't even need 4wd to get to the lake. The last 3 miles are a bit bumpy though. Just make sure you use Meadow Lake road to get there. Not the Henness Pass rd (FS rd 0720).
We made it in a Subaru Crosstrek and didn't have that much of a hard time.
