hi - yes, the DMV is open on saturdays. currently, walk-ins are ONLY accepted on saturdays. if you want a walk-in appointment, i highly suggest arriving as early as 4, 5, or 6 AM. anything later risks your chance of entering. i got to the DMV last Saturday at 6 AM and got a walk-in appointment pass for 11:45 AM. the week before, i waited in line for 6 hours. i arrived at 8:30 AM and did not get to go in. also, it's pretty chilly in the morning and you're on your feet the whole time. i suggest bundling up and bring a chair. hope this helps!
