I need to register my new car and i want to get new specialty plates. How do i go about doing that since the on line registration states only regular plates. You cannot make an appt on line and no one answered the phone.

You can make an appointment online. I just did it for plates. Appointment was for 4:15 and I was seen immediately and was out by 4:45. An appointment is the best way to go!

I went originally in person and made an appt. Didn't get one until September 18 so they gave me a 60 day and told me that Saturdays are first come first serve. We showed up at 11:30 Friday night and waited. We were 21st in line. They open at 8 am but it was well worth the wait. That's the only way I know you can do it without a long agonizing wait in a long long line in the heat and sun.
