No, but it is highly suggested. Go to DMVNV.COM and create a MyDMV account if you don't already have one. You "may be able" to renew online, if it does not allow to renew online, then you must renew in person(see note below). Go to DMVNV.COM to schedule an appointment, the first available dates are in November. You can do walk ins Mondays-Fridays but you must come early, before the office opens to obtain a ticket/slip, once checked in you will obtain a "G" number. The wait times for walk ins can be from 4 - 6 hours or so because the appointments are priority, since the numbers are for different departments, they are not necessarily in order. Saturdays are walk ins only, you would want to arrive before the office opens to obtain at ticket with your return time(no appointments available on Saturdays) *Online Renewal* Most Nevada ID Card holders are now eligible for online renewal. Your new card will be mailed. *Qualifications* All ages with 4 or 8 year (full term) ID card.
What Dyana Pena said. Highly recommended.
No, but I will or would make an appointment next time
You can renew online, if that does not let you, you may need to book an appointment online for a physical visit.
No you can do it online. go to the dmvnv website and make an account with your ID number. Once you've created an account you have the option to renew your ID online and have it sent to your address
