We are uncertain of the type of bottom stick your question refers to, but the Master Lock Model No. 265DCCSEN 20 Gauge Steel Dual Function Adjustable Door Security Bar is a sturdy product we recommend. This can possibly be removed by a clever toddler, it is held in by friction and takes some effort to remove but the possibility is there. Yes, there are locks specifically made for this. They should have them available for puchase at their shop.
