Ok thanks I migjt have to stop up one night amd check it out
Board game nights are socially open, though many times it's people bringing their own stuff. People are usually friendly, and may invite you to play if you're watching something get set up. There's rarely any kind of organized cycle, so to speak. You need to do the legwork of putting yourself out there to see if there are available spots in a game. You can also check meetup and boardgamegeek for local users who might advertise extra slots. Depending on the group, board game rules may be done prior to play or already known. There's a ridiculous range of games on board game night. Anything from Munchkin to some MMP chit wargames have been on the tables. You'll see classics like Settlers of Catan, fresh Kickstarter releases, whatever. It's incredible broad and varied. There's a library of demo games to play in the store if you don't bring your own. Star Wars Legion is a tabletop war game. You bring a collection of figures and other necessary components to play, generally speaking.
