I recently rejoined the Y and I have been using the walking channel because I have a bad knee, my question is why do they let kids play in the channel and splash us walkers when they have the whole water area for playing ,

You right. Its a good point. I saw the life guards tried to control this problem during my visit. A good point to address the management to find a better way

Too crowded.... Beautiful but schedules, pool, exercise areas and parking are too crowded.

The kids see it as a lazy river.... especially since it is in the same area as the play area and the slide. The life guards will intervene if it looks like the kids are rough housing. But I agree with Tara. Voice the concern. The only way action will happen is if it's seen as a concern.
