As of today my understanding is that at all fairview locations patients are allowed 1 visitor who must be the same visitor for the duration of their stay from 8:30am to 8 pm.
In some situations the hospital will make an exception and allow more visitors. They might let you stay overnight in certain circumstances. It doesn't hurt to ask. Confirming the previous answer, most people are allowed 1 visitor per day 8:30 am- 8 pm.
