Now you can yes. The MI Supreme Court ruled that citizens can bring phones into any/all courts. Just make sure to have it on silent or turned off while you are inside the court.

@Charles Lackey absolutely false you can I just went to 36th District court and I put all my items (keys and cell phone) in the box they run through the scanner as did everyone else and that included their cell phones as well and we were let through
