I'm trying to get a family reunion going, I've been here so I love the place. What do I have to do to get it for a day? Like reservation and stuff.

Hey Daniel, you'll have to acquire a permit to lock in the date. You can go to the cook county forest preserve website and look up reservations/permits, or you can go to the headquarters and buy the permit in person at 536 Harlem Ave at the intersection of Harlem ave and Lake st in River Forest. If you Google the website, I'm sure you can get a phone number as well to answer any further questions.
