Hi Ronald. Thanks for reaching out. Might be a dirty pilot head that would need to be cleaned out or it could be that the thermocouple does not generate enough voltage to allow the pilot to stay lit. It could also be that the valve has too much resistance to allow the pilot portion of the valve to stay open.
