I dont know the answer to your question. You may be able to find the answer on their website. However, I would suggest going to the Xfinity store for a face to face with one of their cstrnr reps. Another option may be to call the Xfinity number and ask a rep to transfer you to the customer retention department and see if they can reduce your bill outright or offer a promotion that could reduce the bill for the duration of the promotion.
Cheryl, I don't know if you got a downgrade yet since this is 2mons ago if you didn't. Apply for Internet Essentials - I think it's $20 a month for students! Also let them know you won't keep the service if they don't decrease your bill.
The store can offer you more options than on line services.
I have no idea. Necer asked but you might want to go online and chat with one of their customer service people and see. I only have it because I was told it is what is in the area. Sorry I could not be of more help
