When I was there they only had charcoal bbq's and no fire pits.

They have a fire pit but not operating. We went down to Shawnee Inn and they have it every night

They have a big pit but they weren't operating it as of a week ago. They have a nice common area with charcoal grills, bocce ball, volleyball court, basketball, etc.

I confirmed that it does snow there during the month of December. I have never driven through snow before nor through mountains. Would you suggest me renting a car or just ubering around? I will be with about 6 people.
