Most of it is. I would definitely be with at least one other person if you plan on walking to or from the theater.

I've been walking/running them for 3+ years now and not had issues. I tend to go out in early mornings and some later evenings well as afternoons, but I always have my dogs with me, never wear ear buds and keep an eye out. Especially at night, I carry mace. I've not been followed or bothered, but that's not to say it won't happen or has happened to someone else.
