My brake light just popped on. When I'm driving, my car is making a beeping sounds but when i come to a complete stop, it stops beeping. How can i get it to stop beeping when i am driving?

I called Jim Brown and they told me check the emergency break and thats exactly what it was. The beeping stopped and the break light went off. Thanks
