My question is this. Has anyone else received increases in their bills with no advance warning? When visiting my local comcast store near me, they couldn't explain why other than to say "oh well your contract expired and these are the new charges".

Yes. That's part of their scam. No set price and no disclosure ever. They hope you forget then they can drain you for every dime in your pocket. This is done by design. No customer support and no discernable logic other than to rip you off because you forgot to negotiate the bill the month before they raise the price or cut you off. You'd think that the government would stop this monopoly and lack of competition. But there's too much money involved and if you don't like it use some tin cans and string because there is no apparent over site. Comcast can do at it pleases whenever it suits them.

I was told that under my new plan I received credits and discounts. When asked to explain, she couldn't. She looked at me dumb founded. I was told that Xfinity does not bill a month in advance, and told by someone else on their team, they do. Even the manager says they do. I explained to the in store manager the big run around and lies I've been told regarding my bill, not one time did she apologise for my inconvenience or confusion. At the end she still would not show me where all of the discounts and credits came from and where they showed on my bill. When I asked again to see them on my bill she just stared at me and would not provide a copy. Biggest scam. They should be reported. Who is with me?

I’m 76, husband 82, and are fed up and ready to pull the plug. If we do —in retirement we now watch so much more tv:( —who can we go to for tv, internet, landline? Unfortunately we love Tennis TV & so many other cable shows. Suggestions?

Yes. Too frequently. I have to call every time to get the price back down. That is a whole other customer service complaint. Trying to speak with a human is next to impossible. They want it that way. And I am sick of it.

Yes, even here in Virginia. "Oh, well all this is spelled out before you sign up." They need to have seminars for the fine print. All by design and always the customer's fault with them.

Buy a good antenna from radio shack and get over 50 channels for free. You are wasting your money and piece of mind following the cable trend.

Yes. Your signal quality goes down and you get a letter whereby for $12 more per month my speed will go up!! I now pay 195.10 when five yrs Go it was 70% of that amount Inflation has not been that high My Social has not increased that much, so I will be forced to take everything to the UPS store and put an end to our six-year long relationship Caveat Emptor

Generally when the contract expires the services go to the orginal price rather then the promotional price.
