Yes. I'd recommend reservations even for weeknights

Juan T | Nov 3, 2018

Yes recommendations are required, specially on weekends. Even if 2.

Scott Carroll | Nov 3, 2018

Most definitely. 60 days out is recommended.

Brian Kisielewski | Nov 3, 2018

Definitely. Especially these days after getting a James Beard. Just to note: bar seating is first come first serve so you could get lucky. They have the full menu at the bar i believe.

Brad DeForest | Nov 3, 2018

Yes, often you need to make the reservations a month or 2 ahead.

David Moskowitz | Nov 3, 2018

Yes, reservations are recommended, but if you're willing to sit at the bar & get there early enough, you might be able to Walk-in. You'll only be able to try the tasting menu.

Jian Zhang | Nov 3, 2018

Yes, this place is very popular.

I've been there a few times and its certainly best to reserve months in advance. The upside being you may be able to sit at the bar, which is first come first serve. The downside being there's usually a considerable wait to even get a seat there also. Apps like OpenTable help but really Zahav is constantly busy.
