A few months ago I lost my wallet and with it my green card, I made the report to the police, paid the replacement fee for it, I went to the biometric appointment they took my prints and photo, and from that day April 20 of This year I have had an impace when I apply for a job, as long as it makes me the verification does not happen. Question: Why doesn't it happen in Everify? What should I do about it? Thank you!.

In truth, the only thing the officer is going to do is (maybe) give him the blank request to pay and ask for a replacement. That form (I-90, as long as your residence card was valid for 10 years or more) can be filled out on any computer (in the library, if not at home) on the www.uscis.gov website ( look for 'forms' and there you will find I-90). You can fill it out and deliver it completely electronically, if you have a card or bank account to pay electronically, or fill and print to send by normal mail. AFTER you have the receipt, when you make an appointment for fingerprints and biometrics, you can take your valid passport, and ask them here to give you a temporary stamp while processing your replacement card.

You have to go in person and make an appointment with "Infopass" which are machines similar to an ATM and that are right at the entrance.
